Carolyn promised her relatives she would preserve the historical events which lead to her authorship and waited nearly five decades before going public. Carolyn's natural psi and artistic abilities of creative writings have been extraordinarily popular around the world. Her most treasured written works includes the original authorship of the footprints poem which has become known as one of the most famous poems in today's times.

Scharring-Hausen her great aunt who taught Sunday school and was a Princeton educator. Ella was a teacher who had great insight. Her greatest words of encouragement to Carolyn were never limit the id. Ella's own writing experiences also encouraged Carolyn into her authorship. Ella often shared her Sunday school teaching lessons with Carolyn to read. At age twenty-eight Ella had written a less popular version of Footprints in the sand poem in 1922 which inspired this author's work of original creations in 1963.
